EventMarketplace ("we", "our", "us") collects information in two primary ways:
- Account Data: Information provided by Event Planners during registration, including names, email addresses, and billing information.
- Guest Matrix Data: As a SaaS platform, planners input third-party data (guest names, emails, dietary requirements). In this context, EventMarketplace acts purely as a Data Processor, while the Planner remains the Data Controller.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected information strictly for operational purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Command Center services.
- To facilitate the sending of digital invitations and capture RSVPs.
- To notify you about changes to our platform, security updates, or policy modifications.
We do not, and will never, sell your personal data or your guests' data to third-party data brokers.
3. POPIA & Your Rights
In compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa, you possess the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request the correction or deletion of your personal data.
- Object to the processing of your personal data under certain conditions.
